Mix the yolks with the milk (cold), vanilla and lemon peel, then add the melted butter.
The egg whites, the powdered sugar are mixed like meringue.
Over the yolks we will add half of the egg white meringue, then the flour and baking powder quenched with lemon juice and salt.
Mix the whole composition well in the mixer. Turn off the mixer and add the rest of the meringue, mix with a light whisk until well incorporated all the egg whites.
In a 24/35 cm tray, lined with baking sheet, pour the composition.
Add sliced plums.
Bake the cake at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. We'll do the toothpick test.
Let it cool and then cut it with great pleasure ... it's a treat ... I guarantee you won't be able to stop eating :))))
