I moved it to a clean bowl, covered it with a towel and left it to rise for an hour, until it doubled in volume. Then I sifted a little flour on the worktop and spread a sheet of the whole dough, with which I lined the 40 & # 21525 cm tray. I let it rise for another 20 minutes and in the meantime I heated the oven to 200 degrees (stage 4 for gas ovens).

I first mixed the cottage cheese, vanilla, milk and 100g of sugar for 5 minutes or until I had a homogeneous cream, which I spread evenly on the leavened dough. Then I drank eggs as for the omelet, with the rest of the sugar and I poured them over the layer of cheese. I put the apple slices over the eggs, pressing lightly, so that they fix well on the egg layer. I baked the cake for 15 minutes, after which I lowered the temperature to 180 degrees and left it to bake for another 20 minutes. It's ready when it passes the toothpick test.

To cut it easier, it is good to let it cool completely, preferably overnight, but what I advise you and what we did, was to reheat the portion cut before serving. If you serve it with vanilla ice cream, as we did, the combination of warm cake, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream that melts everywhere is ideal. Superb! You're welcome!
