The oven is preheated to 190C. The muffin tray is lined with oil and flour or special paper is used.
Rub the eggs well with the sugar, then add the milk and melted butter (it will seem too liquid, but it's not the problem). The flour is previously mixed with baking powder and salt, then added over the liquid mixture. It should not be mixed too much, so that the dough remains fluffy.
In each form of muffin put a little of the composition, then place 2 halves of cherries (many cherries make the dough grow hard) which is covered with a little more dough (about 3/4 of the form is full). The pieces of cherries can be placed on top again, but carefully, without pressing.
Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. until they turn golden. Allow to cool in the form and carefully peel off.
