Preparation of the filling for puff pastry appetizer baskets with bacon and mushrooms

Let the puff pastry thaw at room temperature and in the meantime prepare the filling.
Chop the onion scales and heat it in hot oil until it becomes glassy, then add over it, the drained mushrooms and after a few minutes the julienned bacon.
Leave the bowl on the fire until the bacon is well prepared, stirring occasionally with a spatula, then pour the ingredients in a sieve to drain the liquid.
Let them cool well.
Mix the two eggs well and dilute them with milk then add the breadcrumbs and baking powder.
Over this dough, add the cooled ingredients, the finely chopped pickled donut and mix everything well.

Assembling and baking puff pastry appetizer baskets with bacon and mushrooms

We cut the puff pastry into four squares with which we cover the walls of the shapes in which we will bake the baskets.
Divide the mixture of ingredients into four and put it in baskets.
Bake the baskets for 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees, and after turning off the heat, add pieces of dehydrated tomatoes and a little grated cheese on top, and leave the baskets in the oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
You can fill the appetizer baskets with various vegetables and meat dishes, I just limited myself to bacon, mushrooms and donuts, this time.

Appetizer cake with egg whites & # 8211 very fluffy

Many times when we cook something where we only need yolks (cake, mayonnaise, creams, various cakes) we are left with egg whites and we don't really know what to do with them. We can make meringues (I don't kill myself or mine), various cakes, omelettes, sugar paste & hellip, but there is also an appetizer cake, which you should know is not bad at all. & # 128578

I had 8 egg whites left from a cream and I didn't know what else to do: I had just finished the cake and the eclairs, I really didn't want anything sweet. I looked in the fridge and through the pantry and told myself to improvise an aperitif cake.

What I used in the egg white cake recipe:

& ndash Salt, pepper, ground hot pepper, thyme

& ndash Some leftovers from the fridge: cheese, pressed ham, a dried homemade sausage, a piece of homemade salami

& ndash Half a red bell pepper

How to prepare the egg white cake?

I didn't weigh what I took from the fridge, but I filled a plate.

Whisk the egg whites, add the oil and yogurt, mix gently, then add the flour in the pan. It should result in a very fluffy dough, like cake. Now add the cheese, the dishes, the red pepper, all diced and the peas. Mix lightly, pour the composition into the tray lined with baking paper and place in a preheated oven at an average temperature of 160-170 degrees. Test with the toothpick after 30 minutes and if necessary, leave a little, depending on the oven.

Leave to cool and then portion. It can be served with ketchup, yogurt, with a cup of tea or milk & hellip. It is very good and so fluffy that you feel like it's a cake.

Not to mention that he is also very happy with all the brightly colored cubes on the immaculate white background. & # 128578

I did not use baking powder or other loosens, if the egg whites beat very well, there is no need, but you can add a knife tip of baking powder.

You can use any kind of dishes from the refrigerator, steak leftovers, fresh, frozen or canned vegetables.

For the appetizer cake recipe you need: 6 eggs
200 g flour
200 g cheese
200 g of ham
200 g Mushrooms
100 g pitted black olives
1 sachet of baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 piece red bell pepper

Method of preparation: Start by chopping the ingredients into roughly equal cubes. Put the mushrooms in an oil-free pan and keep them on the fire until the water evaporates from them. When they become soft and edible, turn off the heat.

Mix the yolks with the grated cheese, ham, peppers, olives and chilled mushrooms. Add the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper, mix well with a spatula. Separately whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add the egg white foam little by little to the previously created composition. Mix slowly until all the egg whites are incorporated until a homogeneous composition is obtained.

Pour the composition into two cake trays (size 22 cm x 9 cm x 7 cm) lined with paper, pour the dough composition up to a maximum of 3/4 of the height of the tray and level. Place the trays in the preheated oven at 190 ° C for 40 minutes.

Do the toothpick test and if necessary, leave it for another 5-10 minutes. Until it is brown and appetizing. Allow 10-15 minutes to cool before removing from the pan, then cut into slices.

The appetizer cake is eaten cold. It is a very handy delicacy and does not require special skills on the part of the one who prepares it. It is so simple that it can be prepared by a child, but it must be supervised by an adult, who can help him with the frying and baking part.

5 eggs
300 ml yogurt
a cube of yeast
6 tablespoons top with wheat flour
a pinch of salt Prague ham
1 kg mushrooms (hulughite)
a gogosar

Put the eggs with the yogurt in the bowl of the robot and mix very well, then add the green yeast, flour and a pinch of salt and mix until you get a very well homogenized paste, stop mixing and pour the composition in the tray in which I put paper baking. Over the dough, add the boiled and finely chopped mushrooms, the chopped donut and the diced ham and chew with a spoon through the tray to homogenize the composition well and then put the tray in the oven for about an hour. Good appetite!

Appetizer check

Surely you know similar recipes, because our mothers used to make "appetizer cake" very often. I chose it because it is easy to make, it is not at all meticulous, there is no need for spectacular ingredients, but we can simply put everything we have in the fridge. In addition, we bake and slice it and the appetizer is ready, not like in the case of piecemeal appetizers. You can put olives, broccoli, cauliflower, frozen vegetables, corn, sausages, telemea, etc. instead of olives.

& # 8211 5 eggs
& # 8211 150ml milk
& # 8211 50ml oil

& # 8211 100g mushrooms

Beat the eggs with the milk, add the cheese and spices, mix well.

Then add the flour, baking powder and the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pour the composition into a cake pan, lined with baking paper. Put the tray in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.

After it cools, it is sliced very easily and if you want, once placed on the plate, you can heat it a little, it will be very good and warm and cold. I am going to try the broccoli version today and I will show you pictures. Kiss you and have a lot of fun at work!

Appetizer chef with ham, olives and mushrooms & # 8211 Very simple recipe: in just 20 minutes it's ready to put in the oven!

Cakes, tarts and muffins should not be immediately sweet. We most often associate them with desserts, but they can also be prepared and served as appetizers.

The appetizer check we present below can be a versatile dish for breakfast, for lunch at work or even for dinner, if served with a salad.

Numerous combinations of ingredients can be made: ham, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, corn, spinach, olives, bell peppers, cheese, fish, etc.

The recipe presented here contains ham, mushrooms and olives, an association of ingredients that makes us think of pizza. Even if it doesn't look like a pizza, at least the taste and smell are very similar.

You need 20 minutes to prepare the composition and another 40 minutes to bake it. A total of one hour.

Appetizer check with ham, olives and mushrooms - recipe

  • 150 g of flour
  • 5 large eggs
  • 100 g of turkey ham
  • 200 g of cheese (mozzarella, telemea, etc.)
  • 90 g of olives
  • 150 g of canned mushrooms
  • 4 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

The ham is broken into small strips, and the cheese is crushed or put on the grater with large holes. Cut the olives into slices and the mushrooms into smaller pieces (if they are very large).

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Put the eggs in a bowl and beat them with the mixer until they double in volume.

Gradually add the flour, one tablespoon at a time and continue to mix until fully incorporated. Add the baking powder with the flour. Add the oil while mixing.

Turn off the mixer and incorporate the ham, cheese, olives, mushrooms and salt. Homogenize the composition using a spatula or spoon. Pour the composition into a cake pan (or bread) and place in the hot oven. Bake the cake in about 35-40 minutes, depending on the oven.

Remove the tray from the oven and let the cake cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then cool completely on a grill or wood chipper.

The eggs must be at room temperature. Take them out of the fridge for at least 30 minutes before using them in this recipe. This way they will beat better, and the cake will come out fluffier.

Choose the most appropriate type of cheese. Cheese is the best selection. But you can also use telemea, mozzarella or other type of pressed, firm cheese.
