The meat is washed and portioned, fried in hot oil to catch a little crust. then put finely chopped onion on top, add rosemary (a little, because it is fragrant) and a bay leaf, let the onion soften for a few minutes, then add the mushrooms (which you have), thyme; dissolve the broth in a cup of water, add salt, pepper and pour over the meat. let it boil over low heat until the meat is well done. add a little meat or water juice ... I think it would have been nice to add a carrot ... but I remembered only at the end ... add parsley to the end

I served it with canned green pods (they are good here ... my husband likes them a lot ... and they are also cheap) and with pickles.
